WP1 - Use cases and Specifications

• The Work Package 1 is dedicated to the definition of the implemented use cases and their specification. The development of the technology, the IPs, the components and systems in SOIL define a chain of elements with links among them. The role of WP1 is to define these parts and identify the links among them, allowing the description of the relationships between them, also in terms of provisioning. The WP1 depicts the structure of the project, highlighting the dependencies among the work-packages through the definition of the use cases, harvesting the requirements and defining the specifications of each WP's activities.
• The WP1 will need a strong collaboration and collaboration actions among partners to synchronize the requirements definition between the different working groups and WPs. It will be necessary not only to implement regular online discussions but also meetings in person to agree the overall structure and detailed requirements.
• To keep track of the specification it will be necessary the support of each WP Leader, who will follow internally the different partner's inputs and technology necessities. In WP1 the monitoring of the supply chain among the WPs will be performed, aiming the control of the project development and the provision of the building blocks for each WP, which in turn comes from previous WPs, following the project's supply chain, WP2 > WP3 > WP4 > WP5.
• The objectives of the Work Package 1 are:
• O1.1: The first objective of the WP1 is to define the requirements of each technology domain and its validation criteria.
• The definition of the requirements of WP5 (System Demonstrators) will allow to identify the key parameters needed by WP4, WP3 and WP2 to design their deliveries.
• WP1 will ensure coherence between WP5 demonstrators' requirements and technical feasibility by WP2, WP3 and WP4 and will align specifications of partners.
• O1.2: The second objective is to identify the relationships among the WPs and define the procurement links that bond the different activities and deliveries of the project through all the Work Packages.
• As a sort of manufacturing chain, each WP will provide to the next one the building blocks for the next level, thus creating an homogeneous structure through the whole project.
• O1.3: Definition of safe and just targets environmental impacts for the FDSOI ecosystem, according to the planetary boundary framework in absolute sustainability..
